  • USA Recall: These bolts can loosen resulting in separation of the trailer hitch from the motor home.
    Vehicle description: motor homes. the bolts holding the trailer hitch to the motor home frame are the incorrect length.

    Corrective Action:
    Dealers will remove the existing bolts and replace with correctly sized nuts, lock washers, and bolts.

    Additional Notes:
    Owner notification began july 14, 1999.owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact fleetwood at 1-800-445-3307.also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
