  • USA Recall: If the bulbs fall out, the display may be difficult to read.
    Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. the back light bulbs for the liquid crystal display for the gear shift position (prndl) and the odometer were not properly installed.

    Corrective Action:
    Dealers will replace the instrument cluster assembly with clusters that have bulbs that have been properly twist-locked in place.

    Additional Notes:
    Owner notification began june 8, 1998.owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact chrysler at 1-800-992-1997.also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
