  • USA Recall: If the platform moves unexpectedly, it can increase the risk of injury.
    Altec industries inc. (altec) is recalling certain 2008-2018 aerial devices equipped with aluminum work platforms. the platform mounting holes may fail, causing the platform to move unexpectedly.

    Corrective Action:
    Altec will notify owners, and dealers will install a bracket reinforcing kit, free of charge. the recall is expected to begin october 17, 2018. owners may contact altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. altec's number for this recall is csn 689.
