  • USA Recall: An electrical short can increase the risk of a fire.
    Altec industries inc. (altec) is recalling certain 2017 at aerial devices mounted on ford f-550 chassis. a circuit breaker located under the hood may contact the hood, potentially resulting in an electrical short.

    Corrective Action:
    Altec has notified owners, and dealers will update the circuit breaker bracket and install a insulating chafe pad, free of charge. the recall began on january 12, 2018. owners may contact altec customer service at 1-205-991-7733. altec's number for this recall is mab 675.
