  • USA Recall: In the event of a vehicle crash, the occupant may not be properly restrained increasing the risk of personal injury.
    Vehicle description: passenger mini-vans. covers on the solid stalk mounted seat belt buckles can become dislodged causing the release button to stick inside the cover. the buckle would then be only partially latched.

    Corrective Action:
    Dealers will install a cover retaining clip to the stalk mounted buckle cover to prevent dislocation of the buckle cover.

    Additional Notes:
    Owner notification began december 8, 1997.owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact chrysler at 1-800-853-1403. also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-800-424-9393.
