  • USA Recall: An overheated alternator bearing can increase the risk of a fire.
    Prevost car (us) inc. (prevost) is recalling certain 2010-2023 h3-45, h3-45 vip, x3-45, x3-45 com, and x3-45 vip vehicles. in the event of the alternator front bearing seizing, the alternator belt may continue to operate, causing the bearing to overheat.

    Corrective Action:
    Prevost will replace the alternator belt, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed september 30, 2022. owners may contact prevost customer service at 1-866-870-2046.
