Recall 1989127

  • CA Recall: Seats and restraints
The rear seat lap belt may not return to the fully retracted position after use. consequently, the belt may not be released due to the locking characteristices of the automatic locking retractor mechanism and subsequent rear seat passengers might be unable to properly use their seat belt. correction: dealers will install a belt guide or sheath, designed to decrease retracting resistance and to allow free belt movement by maintaining an opening between the seat back and seat cushion.
