In vehicles equipped with 7.3 litre diesel engines, the sound insulator on the outside of the dash panel may contact the exhaust manifold resulting in thermal degradation of the insulator and possible ignition of the insulator resulting in a vehicle fire. correction: insulator will be modified on affected vehicles.
