    The front brake discs and/or pads can be coated with a layer of slush, road salt or water while driving in snow or heavy rain. this can result in a short delay in braking action that increases the normal braking distance. correction: the front brake shields will be replaced with ones of a new design to improve the protection of the inner brake pads and discs.
