    The alternator output wire may not be tightly connected to the power distribution box. this could result in overheating of the connection due to high electrical resistance and a possible underhood fire. correction: distribution box connection will be inspected and tightened. vehicles with visible damage to the plastic box housing will have the underhood harness that includes the power distribution box replaced.
