    On certain volvo 744 and 745, due to the changed freedom of movement of the engine caused by the introduction of hydraulic motor mounts in the 1988 model year, there is the possibility of excessive chafing of the insulation of the positive and negative battery cables. this could result in a short circuit. correction: cable harness will be inspected and replaced if necessary. cable harness will be fitted with a protective sleeve.
