  • CA Recall: Electrical
    Note: motorhomes built on chevrolet/gmc and ford chassis. these motorhomes were equipped with electrical wiring which was not properly installed. the improper installation involves a potential for fire with the source being the battery cable and reduced visibility due to loss of headlamp lighting. also, on chevrolet/gmc equipped units, there is the potential for collision resulting from a loss of power assisted brakes and steering when the engine shuts off. correction: battery cables and electrical harnesses will be relocated and secured away from the radiator and oil cooler. chassis disconnect wire will be replaced with a heavier gauge wire. wiring harnesses will be re-secured where they attach to the head lights, park and side marker lights.
