Recall 2003074

  • CA Recall: Steering
On certain vehicles, the intermediate steering shaft bolt may not be torqued to the proper specification. an under-torqued bolt could loose, resulting in a separation of the upper and lower steering shafts and loss of vehicle control. if this happens while the vehicle is moving, a crash could result without prior warning. correction: dealers will torque the intermediate steering shaft bolt to the proper specifications.
