CA Recall: Electrical
On certain vehicles subject to conditions involving extreme heat and humidity, condensation from the instrument panel air conditioning ducts may drip through the vent holes in the top of the base equipment radio and results in a short circuit that subsequently sends direct current to the rear speakers. this could result in a speaker fire. correction: dealers will apply a special tape to the top of the radio to eliminate the potential for water intrusion.
