    On certain vehicles, the plastic blades of the cooling fan may separate and penetrate the shroud. if this occurs while the hood is open, a person in the vicinity of the engine could be struck by the blade and injured. correction: dealers will replace the electric cooling fan module. note: this only applies to certain 4.7l equipped vehicles built from jan 31, 2000 to june 12, 2000 and certain 4.0l vehicles built from feb 4, 2002 to june 17, 2002.
