CA Recall: Brakes
On certain vehicles, incorrect software programmed into the antilock brake / anti-skid system (abs/asr) electronic control unit may prevent the abs/asr system from functioning properly. a loss of function may result in a loss of enhanced stability and braking control during certain high speed manoeuvres and high speed braking. this could result in a vehicle crash with injury or death. correction: dealers will replace the abs/asr electronic control unit.
