    On certain hybrid vehicles, a defect in engine control module programming could cause a gradual throttle increase without driver input, which could cause vehicle speed to increase. this could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. correction: dealers will update vehicle software. note: applying the brake would allow the vehicle to be slowed or stopped.
