  • CA Recall: Seats and restraints
    Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of canada motor vehicle safety standard (cmvss) 208 - occupant protection and (cmvss) 209 – seat belt assemblies. the front seatbelts may have been installed in the wrong position (interchanged left/right sides). this could affect the locking behavior of the seatbelts which would increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash. additionally, the child seat restraint function for the passenger seat would not be available for this situation. correction: dealers will inspect and correct the installation position as necessary.
