    Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of canada motor vehicle safety standard (cmvss) 212 - windshield mounting. the windshields of some vehicles may have been repaired using expired urethane primer. this may result in a windshield bond that does not meet the retention requirements outlined in the standard. as a result, the windshield may not be retained during a vehicle crash, which could increase the risk injury and/or damage to property. correction: dealers will replace the windshield.
