Recall 2017291

  • CA Recall: Brakes
Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of canada motor vehicle safety standard (cmvss) 121 - air brake systems. clamps securing the front brake hoses may have been over-tightened at time of assembly. this could distort the brake hoses, potentially causing damage and leaks. if a leak occurs, it would cause delay brake actuation, and could cause the vehicle to fail to conform to the standard. a delay in brake actuation would increase stopping distances, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. correction: dealers will inspect and repair air hoses and clamps as necessary.
