Recall 2018167

  • CA Recall: Seats and restraints
Certain vehicles equipped with power driver and passenger seats may fail to conform to canada motor vehicle safety standard (cmvss) 207 - anchorage of seats and cmvss 210 – seat belt anchorages. the front driver and/or passenger seats may have been assembled with improperly manufactured rivets to secure the seat slide rails to the forward seat feet. in the event of a crash, the rivets may break and allow the front seat(s) to separate from the seat feet, which would fail to meet the requirements of the standard(s), and could increase the risk of injury to the seated occupant. correction: for pilot models, dealers will replace the “h” frame (seat rail assembly), on both front seats, and for affected mdx models, dealers will replace the driver’s seat frame assembly.
