    On certain motorcycles, water may enter and contaminate the electrical circuits in the left-hand switch cube, potentially causing the turn signal indicator and headlamp control switches to not function properly. this could result in an operator not being able to clearly signal their intentions to turn and/or change lanes, and a loss of headlamp function would decrease vehicle conspicuity and forward visibility. these conditions could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. correction: dealers will replace the left-hand switch cube with a new version.
