CA Recall: Powertrain
On certain motorcycles, the carburetor cap may not have been properly tightened and the throttle slide could stick in the open position. if this were to occur, it could result in a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. correction: dealers will tighten the carburetor cap. if a gap is found between the cap and carburetor housing, and the cap is unable to be tightened, the carburetor will replaced. note: in the interim, owners are advised to stop use until recall repairs are performed.
