  • CA Recall: Fuel supply
    Issue: on certain vehicles, the bottom of the fuel tank could be deformed. this could cause the fuel gauge to display the wrong fuel level. this could cause a driver to believe there is fuel when the tank is empty. safety risk: the vehicle could unexpectedly run out of fuel and stall, increasing the risk of a crash. corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail. owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer for an inspection of the fuel tank. all affected fuel tanks will be replaced.
