  • CA Recall: Seats and restraints
    Issue: on certain vehicles, the bolts for the driver's seat and/or seat belt may not be properly tightened. this could cause the seat or seat belt come loose or detach in a crash. drivers may notice a rattling noise in the area near the bottom of the seat if the bolts are loose. safety risk: a driver that is not properly restrained could be injured in a crash. corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail. owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a bmw dealer to have the bolts for the driver's seat and seat belt inspected and tightened, as required.
