    Issue: on certain vehicles, the brake warning messages in the instrument panel will display the words "abs" and "brake". canadian regulations require that images are used in place of words. safety risk: these errors could lead to confusion about the status of the brake system. corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the instrument panel software.
