    Issue: on certain vehicles, if the front turn signal light fails, the driver would not be alerted by a fast-flashing turn signal indicator. canadian regulations require this to happen so a driver knows when a turn signal light is not working. safety risk: a loss of turn signal function, without a warning to the driver, could increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to update the body control module software.
