    Issue: one bmw x5 was produced without a vehicle identification number (vin) label under the windshield. canadian regulations require the vin to be clearly visible from outside the vehicle. safety risk: this labelling error is unlikely to affect safety. corrective actions: bmw will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to install a vin label.
