  • CA Recall: Fuel supply
    Issue: on certain vehicles, the high-pressure fuel pumps (hpfp) may have been attached to the cylinder head incorrectly. over time, this could cause the flange of the hpfp to crack. this could result in a fuel leak in the engine compartment. safety risk: a fuel leak in the engine compartment could increase the risk of a fire. corrective actions: bmw will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the high-pressure fuel pumps.
