  • CA Recall: Steering
    Issue: on certain buses, the hydraulic steering hoses may be not be routed properly. as a result, the hoses may be damaged during use. this could cause a hyraulic fluid leak and a loss of power steering assist. safety risk: a loss of power steering assist would result in a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low vehicle speeds. this could increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: the company will notify owners and instruct them to inspect routing of the hydraulic steering hoses. if the hoses are found damaged, they will be replaced and re-routed as necessary.
