    Issue: on certain cars fitted with 18-inch rear tires, the tire placard label shows the wrong rear tire size. canadian regulations require the correct tire size to be listed on the tire placard. if the car is fitted with the incorrect rear tires, it may not handle as designed. safety risk: a change in vehicle handling characteristics could increase the risk of a crash. corrective action: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their car to a dealer to install a corrected tire placard label.
