  • CA Recall: Powertrain
    Issue: on certain motorcycles, some transmission parts may not be properly manufactured. this could cause the transmission to malfunction. if this happens, the rear wheel could suddenly lock-up. safety risk: a rear wheel that locks suddenly could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: bmw will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorcycle to a dealership to replace the defective transmission parts.
