    Issue: on certain motorcycles, the oil cooler hoses may not have been properly attached to the oil pipes. this could result in an oil leak. safety risk: an oil leak near the rear tire could affect handling and control of the motorcycle. this could increase the risk of a crash. in addition, an oil leak near the exhaust system could create a fire risk. corrective actions: bmw will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the oil cooler assembly.
