  • CA Recall: Powertrain
    Issue: on certain vehicles equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, the shifter cable may detach. this could cause the transmission not to shift gears when the shifter is moved. if a driver attempts to exit the car while it is not in the park position, and the parking brake is not applied, the car could move suddenly. safety risk: sudden and unexpected movement of the car could increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to install a new transmission shift cable adjuster.
