    Issue: on certain motorcycles, the gear shift lever may become loose. this could make it difficult or impossible to change gear. safety risk: an inability to change gear could increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: triumph will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to apply a new thread-locking compound on the shift linkage ball joints.
