  • CA Recall: Brakes
    Issue: certain trucks were built without a secondary brake relay valve. as a result, the brake application may be delayed after pushing on the brake pedal. this could cause increased stopping distances. safety risk: delayed brake application can cause increased stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a kenworth dealer to inspect the brake system, and add a second r12 brake relay valve, as required.
