    Issue: on certain vehicles, the pre-collision assist system was not programmed correctly. as a result, the forward collision warning, dynamic brake support, and automatic emergency braking features will not work. note: this recall only affects vehicles with ford co-pilot360, not those with the optional ford co-pilot360 assist technology. safety risk: if the pre-collision assist system does not work properly, it may not detect a frontal crash or reduce its severity. this could create an increased risk of injury. corrective actions: ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the vehicle software.
