  • CA Recall: Lights and instruments
    Issue: while towing a trailer, the trailer brake lights do not turn on when the smart cruise control (scc) slows the vehicle. note: the vehicle's brake lights continue to function normally. safety risk: brake lights that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking. this could increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: kia will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install an additional wire harness to the main fuse box.
