  • CA Recall: Brakes
    Issue: on certain trucks, the fittings for the air brake lines on the firewall pass-through plate may have been damaged during assembly. as a result, an air line could detach from the fitting. if this happens, the parking brake could apply without warning. note: the service brakes are not affected by this problem. safety risk: a parking brake that applies suddenly while driving could increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: volvo trucks will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to inspect the fittings on the pass-through plate. they will be repaired or replaced, as required.
