    Issue: on certain vehicles, if the driver uses the automatic sunroof closing feature, then switches the ignition key to "off" or "lock", the sunroof could continue to close. canadian regulations require the key to be in "on", "start" or "accessory" in order to operate the sunroof. safety risk: a sunroof that keeps moving once the vehicle is switched off could increase the risk of injury. corrective actions: bmw will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to reprogram the sunroof operation.
