    Issue: certain vehicles may have been assembled with defective front lower control arms (transverse links). as a result, the outer ball joint could separate from the arm and cause a loss of vehicle control. safety risk: a loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect and, if necessary, replace the defective front transverse links.
