  • CA Recall: Seats and restraints
    Issue: on certain c and e-class convertible models, the head restraints on the rear seats may not have been properly assembled. as a result, the head restraints may not latch properly, and could move or detach from the seat in a crash. safety risk: head restraints that move or detach in a crash could increase the risk of an injury. corrective action: mercedes-benz will contact owners by mail and instruct you to take your car to a dealer to inspect and replace the rear seat head restraints, as required. to reduce the safety risk, mercedes-benz recommends that you should remove the rear seat head restraints and not use the rear seats until the recall repairs are completed.
