  • CA Recall: Steering
    Issue: under certain driving conditions, a fault in the power steering system could cause reduced power assist when the lane following assist (lfa) system is used. this can cause a sudden change in steering feel and an increase in steering effort. note: this problem only affects certain models equipped with a 2.5 l t-gdi engine. safety risk: a sudden change in steering effort could increase the risk of a crash. corrective action: kia canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealer to update the motor driven power steering system (mdps) software.
