  • CA Recall: Airbag
    Issue: a small number of vehicles may be missing a bolt that secures the driver-front airbag to the steering wheel, or the bolt may not be properly tightened. as a result, the airbag may not open and inflate properly in a crash. safety risk: an airbag that does not inflate properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. corrective action: general motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the driver-front airbag assembly. the bolts will be tightened or replaced, as required. if the bolts can't be properly tightened, the airbag assembly will be replaced.
