  • CA Recall: Suspension
    Issue: on certain vehicles, the left-front lower control arm was not welded properly. as a result, it could partially separate from the crossmember. if this happens while driving, the tire could contact the wheel well and cause a loss of vehicle control. note: the affected control arms are stamped with lot number 12171. safety risk: a loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: subaru will notify owners by mail. in addition, a subaru dealer will contact you by telephone and advise you not to drive your vehicle, and arrange for towing to a dealership. the dealer will inspect the left-front lower control arm and replace it, as necessary.
