    This recall was replaced by transport canada recall no. 2021-693. issue: on certain motorcycles, the front brake pad retaining clips (also known as "r" clips) may not have been installed correctly. as a result, the brake pad retaining clips, securing pin and bracket could fall out while riding. if this happens, you could have reduced braking. safety risk: reduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash. corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect the brake pad retaining "r" clips and reinstall them correctly, if necessary.
