  • CA Recall: Steering
    Issue: on certain trucks, the steering shaft may not have been properly installed on the steering gear. as a result, the shaft could separate from the steering gear and cause a loss of steering. safety risk: a loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. corrective actions: daimler trucks north america (dtna) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dtna authorized service facility to inspect the steering shaft and ensure that it is installed correctly. it will be repaired, if necessary.
