  • CA Recall: Brakes
    Issue: on certain motorcycles, the brake pad retaining clips (also known as "r" clips) may not have been installed correctly. as a result, the brake pad retaining clips, securing pin and bracket could fall out while riding. if this happens, you could have reduced braking. note: this recall replaces transport canada recall 2021-543. vehicles that were inspected or repaired under that recall require a second repair. safety risk: reduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash. corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the front and rear brake pad retaining "r" clips.
