    Issue: on one vehicle, the ground connection for the electric heater in the passenger-side foot well may not have been properly tightened. as a result, the connection and wiring could overheat. safety risk: a loose or overheated wire connection could create the risk of a fire. corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, tighten the ground connection for the electric heater.
