  • CA Recall: Steering
    Issue: on a small number of motorhomes, the tie rod arm and steering arm bolts may be defective and could break. if this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. note: this recall only affects motorhomes built with a detroit front axle on a freightliner chassis. safety risk: a loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a daimler trucks north america (dtna) authorized service facility to replace the tie rod arm bolts and the steering arm bolts.
